Tom Waits Releases Another Teaser Photo

A mysterious press release and teaser photo from Anti- Records has us all guessing what could be coming next from Tom Waits. The photo only has this message: coming August 7.

The subject of the press release read, “Tom Waits: Permission to Come Aboard,” although that doesn’t do much by way of enlightenment. An album? A tour? If the photo on the right means anything, it is most definitely pirate themed.

Tom Waits has recently performed on both Letterman and Fallon, so it appears he’s been revving up for something.
