Watch a Video for Jens Lekman's "I Know What Love Isn't"

Jems Lekman has released a new video for “I Know What Love Isn’t,” the lead single off his upcoming album of the same name.

The Marcus Soderlund-directed video is just a simple, minimalist take on the song that shows Lekman performing in a white room with his band.

Lekman recently explained in an interview with the Guardian that the song is about a time he considered marrying an Australian friend to gain citizenship:

“The problem was that in order for this to work I would never be able to tell anyone the story,” Lekman said. “I would have to keep it a secret forever. And that didn’t really work for me, because I’m Jens Lekman. So I wrote this song about it and left the country.”
