Watch Grimes on Fallon

Grimes made her U.S. television debut last night, appearing on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

The indie starlet, whose real name is Claire Boucher, played “Genesis” off her acclaimed debut album, Visions. She alternated between playing a keyboard and samplers, swaying back and forth in her giant red kimono while encircled by a bed of roses. Boucher was also backed by two bouncing-haired back-up dancers with two large steam jets to match. Needless to say, it was a late night performance for the books.
