Just a few weeks after the official trailer for Martin McDonagh’s Seven Psychopaths was released, a red band trailer has followed in preparation for the film’s October release.
In his first film since 2008’s highly acclaimed In Bruges, for which McDonagh received a Best Original Screenplay nomination, the writer-director is teaming up with the likes of Colin Farrell once again to bring his unique blend of comedy and violence to the screen.
Seven Psychopaths surrounds Farrell, Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken as they involve themselves in the underground world of dog kidnapping. But they get themselves in over their heads when they accidentally steal a local mob boss’s shih tzu (played by Woody Harrelson), and must figure out a way to return the canine without losing their lives.
A look into the creative mind of a director unafraid to utilize profanity to hilarious means, this red band trailer offers a much better preview of what is to come when the film hits theaters this October.
