ArmA II Mod DayZ To Become PC Game

The world’s longtime and slightly disturbing zombie fetish continues as DayZ, a popular mod for the military simulation PC game ArmA II, is being develop as its own separate game. Bohemia Interactive, developers of ArmA II and the DayZ mod, stated on the game’s tumblr: “This is the fairy-tale outcome for a mod that many would have said impossible four months ago. Development and updates of the mod will continue in parallel with the development of the game, so anyone who is playing the mod now will be able to continue to do so. Ben Affleck In Running To Direct Justice League Film

As Joss Whedon is clearly Marvel’s choice to champion the Avengers for the silver screen, it appears that Warner Bros. has their sights set on actor-diector Ben Affleck. As a director, Affleck found recent success with The Town in 2010 and just completed Argo, based on a “declassified” CIA story. Affleck will be speaking with the studio in the coming days, according to Variety. The film was written by Will Beall (Gangster Squad), who was hired to write the script last summer.... read more

New York City Ballet Production to Feature Sufjan Stevens' Music
