Breaking Bad’s Jonathan Banks Joins Parks and Rec

HitFix reported that Jonathan Banks will be joining the cast of NBC’s Parks and Recreation. The actor, most notably known for his role as Mike Ehrmantraut on AMC’s Breaking Bad, will guest star in the fifth season of the popular NBC comedy as the father of Adam Scott’s character, Ben Wyatt.

Though details for the character remain under wraps, Banks joins a list of guest stars that includes Lucy Lawless and Senators John McCain, Barbara Boxer and Olympia Snowe.

The sitcom returns Thursday, Sept. 20 on NBC.
