Coen Brothers Adapting Fargo for FX Series
The Coen brothers will soon be taking their unique brand of storytelling to the small screen as Fargo heads to FX.
Joel and Ethan Coen will adapt the Oscar-winning film into an hour-long drama with help from Noah Hawley (creator of ABC’s The Unusuals and My Generation), who will also write and executive produce.
The brothers wrote, directed and produced the 1996 film, which starred Frances McDormand, William H. Macy and Steve Buscemi. It earned seven Oscar nominations and two wins (best actress and best original screenplay).
