Crystal Castles Announce <i>(III)</i>, Unveil New Song

Crystal Castles have finally announced a follow up to their stellar 2010 album Crystal Castles (II). The forthcoming LP, simply titled (III), will be released digitally Nov. 5. Physical copies will hit shelves a day later on Nov. 6. It will be the band’s third full-length release, following Crystal Castles (II) and their self-titled debut, which was released in 2008.

The album was produced by member Ethan Kath and supposedly consists of more “bleak” material than we are used to hearing from Kath and vocalist Alice Glass. You can check out (III)’s album art, which features the work of Spanish photographer Samuel Aranda, to the right.

Along with the announcement, Crystal Castles unveiled a new song that will appear on the album called “Wrath of God.” They already released “Plague” earlier this summer. Stream them both below.
