David Byrne Performs At Halftime Show For Charity Basketball Game
Perhaps the people who plan the annual Superbowl halftime show should take a note from the folks at Pop Montreal. During the annual Pop vs. Jock charity basketball game, David Byrne took center stage to perform during the half-time show with the help of Arcade Fire’s Win and Will Butler and The Strokes’ Nikolai Fraiture.
The four performed two songs during the charity event, “96 Tears” and “That’s the Way (I Like It).” Not only did Win and Fraiture perform, but they were also players during the basketball game.
