Fox Orders Live Action Comedy from Seth MacFarlane

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Fox has ordered a put-pilot commitment toward a live action comedy from Seth MacFarlane. MacFarlane is expected to be joined by Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, who co-wrote this summer’s Ted.

The yet-to-be-named series will be a single-camera comedy revolving around two men who unexpectedly have their fathers move in with them.

Sulkin and Wild have an extensive relationship with MacFarlane, dating back to collaborations on MacFarlane’s Family Guy, Cleveland Show and American Dad.

No timetable has been set for the pilot as the ever-busy MacFarlane recently has said he is “thinking about” a sequel to Ted as well as two other development deals for shows at Fox.
