Los Angeles’ anthemic rebels FIDLAR (standing for Fuck It Dog Life’s A Risk) are most comfortable when they are singing about what they know. They like to rock out to themes like getting drunk and getting arrested, but now they have completed a task that should be mandatory for any band that likes booze as much as these guys: they have made a theme song for their local bar.
In FIDLAR’s case, the bar is the Cha Cha Lounge, a Silver Lake hipster haven that is generally crowded, dark and affordable. FIDLAR’s tune is (possibly) tongue-in-cheek in its noting of the frequency that people use fake IDs to get in and the tendency of the bathroom stalls to be designated for extracurricular activities, but the fact remains that the Cha Cha now has the best theme song of any bar in the neighborhood.
Check out FIDLAR’s “At The Chacha” (ft. Los Angeles) and see if you don’t get a little pumped up to “erase some memories.”
