Pacino, Walken's Stand Up Guys Gets Release Date

The Expendables and The Avengers show that films built around an all-star cast of characters and actors also have a built-in audience.

Summit Entertainment is hoping for the same enthusiastic response next year with the release of Stand Up Guys on Jan. 11.

Fisher Stevens directed the comedy, which stars Al Pacino, Christopher Walken and Alan Arkin. The film brings aging gangsters back together for one last night of fun before (plot twist!) one is expected to kill the other.

While no trailer has been released yet, let’s hope the film is a return to form for all those involved.
