Times New Viking Announce New EP for October

Ohio’s torchbearers of fuzzy rock will return with a new EP on Oct. 16, titled Over & Over, following last year’s Merge Records release Dancer Equired.

The six-song set, however, will not be put out by Merge, but by the band’s original home label Siltbreeze. The small Philadelphia indie has previously released work from Sebadoh, Psychedelic Horseshit, and Sic Alps.

As pointed out by Consequence of Sound, the new effort is the result of a “modest creative flux,” with the sound said to combine both the old no-fi TNV and their more recent pop-infused material.
