Watch The Corin Tucker Band's “Neskowin” Video
In accordance with yesterday’s release of their new album Kill My Blues, the Corin Tucker Band has debuted a new video for the track “Neskowin.”
The semi-autobiographical song prominently features a reserved, yet firm vocal delivery from Tucker in addition to a driving rhythm section. Neskowin is a town on the Oregon coast close to where Tucker grew up.
Set in the ‘80s, the video portrays an angst-ridden teenage girl who ditches a family trip to hang out with her best friend. Tucker portrays three different roles in the video: a protective mother, a hippie who offers the daughter a ride and her daughter’s idol, punk rocker Poly Styrene.
