The Democratic National Convention wrapped up last night, and music played a big role in setting the tone throughout the entire convention. Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” was played, Fleetwood Mac’s “Don’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow” introduced Bill Clinton and Bruce Springsteen closed the ceremony after Barack Obama finished speaking late last night.
Also Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters treated the thousands in attendance to a live performance leading up to Obama’s speech. After Grohl mentioned how much of an honor was it was to perform, the band played “My Hero” and “Walk.” The Foo Fighters also played a fundraiser for Obama earlier this year.
