Watch a Teaser Trailer for Spielberg’s Lincoln

Last week it was announced that the official trailer for Steven Spielberg’s upcoming Lincoln would be the first of its kind to debut over the Internet. The full trailer will be released via Google Play on Sept. 13. and will be followed by a live Google Hangout with Spielberg and star Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

In anticipation of this event, a teaser trailer for the upcoming film has been released. As expected, the trailer is short and concealing, we are not offered much of a glimpse of Daniel Day-Lewis portraying the nation’s sixteenth President. Instead, we are given an excerpt from Lincoln’s legendary Gettysburg Address layered over several short images from the film.
