Denny's Creates New Middle Earth-Themed Menu
Ever wish that you could sit down at the breakfast table and eat the same food as they do in the Shire? Now, that wish can be reality all thanks to a special menu that Denny’s crafted up to tie up with Peter Jackson’s 2012 release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
Denny’s Middle Earth inspired menu will feature dishes that all tie into Lord of The Rings in someway. Many of the dishes have just been renamed with characters from the series like “Hobbit Harvest Pies,” which are just pumpkin pies, or “Build Your Own Hobbit Slam.” The restaurant did take some creative liberties on some dishes and tried to create a truly Shire-worthy meal. For example, the "Radagast’s Red Velvet Pancake Puppies,” which are balls of pancake batter with white chocolate chips served with a side of cream cheese icing.
Diners will have the option of the Middle Earth Menu at Denny’s starting on Nov. 6 and will last until January. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journeyhit theaters Dec. 14.
