George Clooney to Direct Daniel Craig, Bill Murray in The Monuments Men

George Clooney has put together quite a cast for his next directorial effort, the WWII drama The Monuments Men: Cate Blanchett, Daniel Craig, Jean Dujardin (The Artist), John Goodman and Bill Murray.

The period drama written by Clooney and partner Grant Heslov (The Ides of March), follows a crew of art historians and museum curators as they attempt to recover art stolen by Nazis before the works are destroyed by Hitler.

Production is set to begin March 1 in Europe.
