When the highly anticipated Sin City sequel A Dame to Kill For is released in October 2013, fans will notice a few new faces. According to THR, Jaime King and Jamie Chung have both joined the cast.
The film, which began shooting Monday, will again be directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller (the latter whom created the Sin City comics in the ‘90s). The duo also wrote the script together, which reportedly combines a variety of storylines from the comics as well as new ones Miller wrote specifically for the film. “One of the storylines being adapted is A Dame to Kill For, originally published in 1993 and featuring a man named Dwight entangled in a complicated and deadly relationship with a femme fatale named Ava.”
Returning cast members include Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba and Rosario Dawson. While King did appear in the first movie, this time she’ll be playing her character’s twin sister, Wendy. Chung will play the mute assassin Miho, replacing Devon Aoki who previously played the role.
Chung will appear in The Man with the Iron Fists, which is in theaters this Friday.
