In really not shocking news, Jason Schwartzman has confirmed that he will be in Wes Anderson’s newest film, The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Schwartzman confirmed his involvement in the film with Movies.com over the phone this weekend. “I’m going to be in it. Yes, I’m going to be in it. I’m playing Cousin Ben (referring to his Moonrise Kingdom character). No, I’m just kidding — wouldn’t that be crazy? No, but I’m excited about it. I’m very excited about it. It’s a beautiful movie.”
Details regarding The Grand Budapest Hotel have been relatively scarce. All that is really known about the upcoming film is that it will take place in Europe and will involve a hotel in some way. Schwartzman joins a cast that so far has been rumored to include Ralph Fiennes, Owen Wilson and Jude Law. Bill Murray has been confirmed to be a part of the project.
