New Images Released from James Bond Skyfall, Adele Theme

Skyfall, the highly anticipated installment of the popular James Bond franchise, still won’t be out for another month, but new images from the film have been released to tide fans over until then.

The Hollywood Reporter has 23 images from Daniel Craig’s third go-around. They feature Bond in action and battling his newest nemesis, Raoul Silva (played by Javier Bardem).

In other Bond news, the cover art for Adele’s theme song to the film has also been released via MI6-HQ, as well as more information on the song.

Roger Friedman of Showbiz 411 heard the newest theme and calls it “an ominous, dramatic ballad, with lots of gorgeous horn flourishes peeking out through Adele’s now trademark vocals. It’s also fresh, new, and original.” He also revealed some lyrics to the chorus, which goes, “Let the sky fall / Let it crumble / We will stand tall / And face it all / together.”

The song is expected to be released this week. It will be the first new material from the singer since her smash 2010 sophomore album 21.
