Pixar Unveils Character Art from Monsters University

Following the relatively low amount of excitement from their last two releases, Cars 2 and Brave, Pixar is returning to its roots with Monsters University, a prequel to 2001’s Monsters, Inc. Pixar has unveiled the first look at the character art for the forthcoming film.

Providing voices for the animated comedy are Billy Crystal, John Goodman and Steve Buscemi, all of who lent their talents to the original film. Monsters University tells the story of how Mike (Crystal) and Sulley (Goodman) became friends when they met in college.

Monsters University hits theaters June 21, 2013.
