Quentin Tarantino to be Honored by Hollywood Film Awards

The Hollywood Reporter reported the Hollywood Film Awards will be honoring iconic writer/director Quentin Tarantino for his screenplay for his upcoming spaghetti Western, Django Unchained.

Tarantino will receive the Hollywood Screenwriter Award at the 16th annual Hollywood Film Awards on Oct. 22. Hollywood Film Festival founder and executive director Carlos de Abreu and an advisory team vote on the awards. Winners are recognized for career achievement as well as work released within the year.

Django Unchained is gearing up for a Dec. 25 release from The Weinstein Co.
