RZA to Direct Two More Films
While former Wu-Tang Clan frontman-turned film director RZA readies his directorial debut, The Man with the Iron Fists, for release Nov. 2, he’s not wasting any time deciding on his next projects.
According to THR, he has signed on for two more directorial efforts including a Genghis Khan biopic and an action thriller reportedly titled No Man’s Land.
Genghis Khan was written John Milius (Apocalypse Now), and tells the story of the military many who united the Mongol tribes from the point of view of his son and grandson. The shoot will begin next year in China, the same place RZA shot Iron Fists.
No Man’s Land was written by Trey Ellis and David Klass. The story takes place in one night and follows a man’s attempt to stay alive and cash-in on a jewel he steals from a powerful criminal.
