Saturday Night Live to Air Weekend After Hurricane Sandy

New York City residents are hard at work trying to return to their normal routines after Hurricane Sandy and that includes live entertainment. NBC’s Saturday Night Live will go on as planned, despite the damage caused by the storm.

Head writer for SNL Seth Meyers went on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Monday and confirmed that the writers were working on a script despite the storm and that Louis C.K. will still host. C.K. was one of the many performers who was forced to cancel shows in New York earlier this week. SNL has also confirmed that they will perform their show in front of an audience.

In other NBC news, the network decided to move 30 Rock to tonight at 8 p.m. instead of it’s usual Thursday night. Watch a special new promo for SNL featuring C.K. below, where he declares he is doing the show no matter what.
