Two Members of Pussy Riot Sent to Siberian Prison Camps

Almost two weeks after the release of Yekaterina Samutsevich, the two remaining jailed members of Pussy Riot have been shipped to prison camps in Siberia, The Washington Post reported. Nadya Tolokonnivoka and Maria Aloykhina were sent to separate camps on Saturday after leaving prison in Moscow. Tolokonnikova was sent to a camp in Mordovia and Aloyhnia to Perm.

The camps are known as being some of the roughest in the region and house political and dangerous criminals. Tolokonnivoka and Aloykhina face two years in the labor camps after the ruling was upheld earlier this month.
