Watch Damien Rice Perform Two New Songs

Besides the occasional live performance or compilation album contribution (2008’s Songs for Tibet: The Art of Peace and 2010’s Raise Hope for Congo), Damien Rice has mostly been out of the public eye since his sophomore album 9 was released almost six years ago.

Last week he played a surprise set at Los Angeles’ Hotel Café where he unveiled two new songs, “The Greatest Bastard” and “No One Need Know.”

Although the singer hasn’t announced plans for a new album, this should help tide fans over for a little while. Check out the songs below.
