Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Renner have been confirmed as hosts for the Nov. 10 and 17 episodes of Saturday Night Live, respectively. It will be Hathaway’s third time hosting, while Renner will be making his SNL debut. Rihanna will share the bill with Hathaway on Nov. 10, filling the role of musical guest for the fourth time. Also appearing for the fourth time will be Maroon 5, who will appear with Renner a week later.
Though Kristin Wiig and Andy Samberg have moved on to greener pastures, the 38th season of Saturday Night Live has enjoyed a strong start. Seth MacFarlane received rave reviews for the job he did hosting the season premiere, and Christina Applegate and Bruno Mars have also turned in memorable performances as hosts. This Saturday’s show has been the most anticipated of the season to date, as comedian Louis C.K. will host the first post-Hurricane Sandy episode.
