Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul and Vince Gilligan to Appear on MythBusters
Many of us don’t watch Breaking Bad for an authentic portrayal of the meth-making process, but in an upcoming episode of MythBusters we’ll found out how accurate the show really is.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the Discovery Channel series will be visited by one of the stars of the Breaking Bad as well as the creator, Aaron Paul and Vince Gilligan.
“We’ve been wanting to do a Breaking Bad episode for awhile,” Adam Savage, MythBusters host said. “Obviously there’s a lot of fertile material to play with, so things that happen on the show have been ending up on our list of stories to tackle for a couple years now. And when Vince said in an interview that he’d love to see a MythBusters/Breaking Bad crossover, we reached out to him directly and the response was overwhelmingly positive.”
Savage and MythBusters co-hosts Jamie Hyneman, Tory Belleci, Kari Byron and Grant Imahara will test two scenes from season one, including the memorable episode in which Jesse uses hydrofloric acid to dissolve a body in a bathtub instead of a specific container that Walt asked for, causing the acid to eat through the tub resulting in a huge mess on the floor below.
The episode is currently being shot and is expected to air sometime in the spring.
