Jude Law Joins Werner Herzog’s Queen of the Desert Cast

Jude Law is reportedly joining the cast of Werner Herzog’s Queen of the Desert, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Law is set to join Naomi Watts and Robert Pattinson in the film that will trace the impact of Gertrude Bell. Watts is attached to portray Bell, while Pattinson will be taking on the role of T.E. Lawrence, better known as Lawrence of Arabia.

Bell was an explorer for the British Empire who helped catalyze the formation of the Middle East at the dawn of the 20th century. Principal photography for Queen of the Desert is set to begin in March.
