Lincoln Gets Special White House Screening Hosted by President Obama

As if Steven Spielberg’s Oscar-hopeful Lincoln wasn’t already getting enough attention, the cast and crew will be at a special screening of the movie tonight hosted by the president himself, THR reports.

No specific details were given other than the film will be shown once Obama has made his way back to the capital after visiting New York to assess the damage caused by Hurricane Sandy and to talk with those affected.

Spielberg and stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, Gloria Reuben and Tommy Lee Jones are expected to attend as well as the co-chairman and CEO of DreamWorks, Stacey Snider, and producer Kathleen Kennedy.

Lincoln opens in theaters tomorrow.
