Idris Elba Stars in Mumford & Sons' “Lover of the Light” Video

Not long after the release of Mumford & Sons’ record-breaking sophomore release, Babel, the band has returned once again with a video for the track, “Lover of the Light.” The video, both directed by and starring Idris Elba, follows a blind man seeking personal fulfillment in the great outdoors.

This is a visually impressive music video that carefully mirrors the thoughtful tune. Filmed in Pembrokeshire, Wales, there is plenty to admire in addition to the music. Elba particularly shines, turning in a memorable performance in the brief duration of the video.
