New Jimi Hendrix Album to Feature 12 Previously Unreleased Tracks

Rolling Stone points out that a new album featuring 12 previously unreleased tracks from the late Jimi Hendrix will hit shelves March 5.

People, Hell and Angels is a rare look into the experimental side of Hendrix that features tracks that stray away from his traditional guitar-heavy sound. These rare recordings were taken during the late ‘60s and feature music that he was considering for the double album First Rays Of the New Rising Sun. Now, Hendrix’s fans will be able to hear the new direction of the legendary guitarist with the release of People, Hell and Angels.

People, Hell and Angels will be released March 5.
