Passion Pit Announces North American Tour for 2013

Following a performance on the Christina Applegate-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live in October, Passion Pit has announced a headlining North American tour in 2013 with help from Matt & Kim.

Kicking off Feb. 5 in Norfolk Va., the band will then head to Madison Square Garden for their headlining debut, followed by 10 other stops throughout the country—the largest tour in the band’s history.

Passion Pit released Gossamer, their second studio album, this summer and next they will be featured on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 soundtrack with their song “Where I Come From.” This comes after a tour cancellation in July, which saw Passion Pit cancel six U.S. dates, including the Firefly Music festival in Dover, Del.
