Saoirse Ronan Cast as Lead in Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel
Variety reported that established actress Saoirse Ronan (Atonement, The Lovely Bones) has been cast in a lead role opposite Ralph Fiennes in Wes Anderson’s forthcoming feature The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Ronan joins Fiennes alongside Anderson regulars Bill Murray and Jason Schwartzman in the period piece to be set eighty-five years ago in a Hungarian hotel. The film is also expected to include Jude Law.
Ronan was nominated for an Oscar at the age of 13 for her supporting role in Atonement. She will next be seen in the upcoming film The Host, set to hit theaters March 29.
