Sigur Rós Announces 15-Date North American Tour

Update: Sigur Rós’ website also announced that fans who purchase tickets to their North American shows will also receive a free digital copy of a three-track EP. The EP will have new music from Sigur Rós as well as previously unreleased tracks. The three-track EP will become available to all the North American ticket holders on March 22.

Sigur Rós have just announced a headlining North American tour in support of Valtari, their sixth studio album released this past May. It will be the Icelandic band’s biggest North American tour to date and will include a show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and 14 other stops across the country.

They will also likely be performing their new track, “Brennisteinn,” which premiered at the recently wrapped Iceland Airwaves Festival.
