The Faint Release First New Song in Four Years

The Faint have announced a new tour-exclusive 12” featuring four new songs—their first new material in over four years—recorded at their Omaha studio with Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes). The band, currently on tour throughout the States, is offering the first track, “Evil Voices,” in a free download.

The band hopes to release more new music in 2013, but until then, Saddle Creek is rereleasing their 2001 album Danse Macabre, remastered with six bonus tracks from that era and an extensive booklet. It will be available on double vinyl or CD in a triple-disc format, both including a DVD. The DVD contains live footage, the “Agenda Suicide” music video and more. Copies are limited to to 5,000 for the 2xCD/DVD package and 3,000 for the 2xLP/2xCD/DVD package.

Check out The Faint’s new song, “Evil Voices,” below, as well as the band’s upcoming tour dates—the only place fans can pick up the new 12”.
