With the anticipation bubble for Peter Jackson’s upcoming Hobbit trilogy about to burst, fantasy fans are going to need something else to look forward to. Enter: The Wolverine and Man of Steel. Both films won’t be released until next summer, but brand new trailers will soon give a glimpse into their respective worlds.
Comic Book Movie reports that Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot and James Mangold’s Wolverine sequel will have trailers attached to Jackson’s upcoming Lord of the Rings prequel starting Dec. 14. Set pictures and a teaser poster are all we’ve seen of The Wolverine so far, but Mangold describes it as a “Japanese noir picture with tentpole action.”
Fans will get to see how true that is when the film is released July 26, 2013, preceded by Man of Steel on June 14. And don’t forget to check out The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey on Dec. 14 for your first look at both on the big screen.
