Two Dresses Stolen From Amy Winehouse's London Home

The Associated Press reported that two dresses belonging to the late Amy Winehouse have gone missing from the her London home and are now presumed stolen.

The Amy Winehouse Foundation was taking inventory of the singer’s possessions when they realized that her dress that she wore during her 2006 Miami wedding to Blake Fielder-Civil was missing. Also missing from the collection was a cocktail dress that she wore during an appearance on British TV that had a newsprint design.

The dress was to be auctioned off to raise money for The Amy Winehouse Foundation. The foundation was established after the troubled singer’s death to help young people overcome addiction. Her father, Mitch Winehouse, has been very involved in the efforts made by the foundation and talked with the Evening Standard when he heard the news of the missing dresses.

He said it was “sickening that someone would steal something in the knowledge of its sentimental value.”

There is still no news on the location or who may have taken the two dresses.
