The Killing Expected to Return in 2013 on AMC

AMC decided mid-summer that they would be pulling the plug on their popular yet lagging drama The Killing after two seasons. However, in the coming months reports surfaced of AMC teaming with numerous outlets, such as Netflix and DirecTV, to keep the series alive. Now it appears AMC is intent on confirming that a third season of The Killing is on the way.

Involvement with a second party has yet to be confirmed with rumors suggesting a deal still needs to be finalized, but AMC has acknowledged that development will begin immediately and that they aim for the third season to premiere in May of 2013. (via Variety)
