Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan Cast in The Amazing Spider-Man Sequel

The casting process for Marc Webb’s follow-up to this year’s highly successful The Amazing Spider-Man is moving at a rapid pace, with several key characters already in place. Now, Harry Osborn, Peter Parker’s best friend and eventual nemesis, has been cast. According to Webb, Dane DeHaan, best known for his role in the film Chronicle, will assume the role previously played by James Franco in Sam Raimi’s Spider Man trilogy.

Furthermore, following weeks of rumors, Jamie Foxx has been confirmed as Electro for the upcoming sequel.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is slated to be released May 2, 2014.
