Jason Schwartzman to Guest on Parks and Recreation

The Huffington Post reports that Jason Schwartzman (Bored to Death) has booked a flight to Pawnee, Ind. to join Amy Poehler and company as an independent video store owner whose business has seen better days.

His character, Dennis Lerpiss, will team up with Leslie Knope to get his Pawnee VideoDome recognized as a historical landmark. Right now his arc is only expected to last one episode, which will air next year.

Parks and Recreation returns to NBC Thursday, Jan. 17 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
