Jon Hamm, John Slattery to Direct More Mad Men Episodes

Some familiar faces will again be stepping into the director’s chair for Mad Men’s upcoming season: Jon Hamm and John Slattery.

Slattery tells THR that he will be contributing two more episodes to the series and that Hamm will also be joining him behind the scenes.

Both men have previously directed episodes, combining for a total of four throughout the series’ five seasons—Hamm was responsible for season five’s “Tea Leaves,” and Slattery helmed “The Rejected” and “Blowing Smoke” from season four, as well as last season’s “Signal 30.”

Earlier this fall, the actors and crew began work on the sixth season of the award-winning drama, with reports of Hamm and actress Jessica Paré (who plays his wife Megan) shooting in Hawaii.

Mad Men’s upcoming sixth season will premiere on AMC sometime in 2013.
