Kristen Wiig May Play Brick Tamland's Love Interest in Anchorman 2

TheWrap reported Kristen Wiig might join the cast of Anchorman: The Legend Continues as dim-witted weatherman Brick Tamland’s love interest.

The sequel to 2004’s Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is scheduled to hit theaters in October of 2013, but the script is still being written and no castings have been confirmed other than the major players. Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner are all set to reprise their original roles. Judd Apatow will also return to produce the film, and Adam McKay will be back to direct. We can only hope Wiig will join the already hilarious cast.
