Lena Dunham's 66-Page Book Proposal Briefly Leaks
In early October, Lena Dunham’s proposed book of essays netted the actress/writer/director $3.7 million from Random House. The illustrated 66-page proposal has hit the web and now we can all see exactly what sparked such an intense bidding war.
In it, Dunham features snapshots into her life, including a reproduced diary she kept of everything she ate in a specific month, travel anecdotes, lessons learned from therapy and more.
The proposal was originally published by Gawker, but has since been deleted due to a cease-and-desist letter from Dunham’s attorney.
