Springsteen, Black Keys, Lady Gaga to Join Rolling Stones in New Jersey
If Jagger and company aren’t already enough, ticket holders for the Rolling Stones’ Dec. 15 show in Newark, N.J. can now expect an even more star-studded concert as some big names have just been added to the bill.
“We’re excited these extraordinary artists, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and The Black Keys, had agreed to help celebrate our 50th anniversary as we share the night live with our fans all over the world,” the band said in a statement. "Now the fun begins of trying to figure out the best songs to perform together.”
The concert will be the fifth and final performance as part of the band’s 50th anniversary tour. Fans who can’t make it to the show can catch it live on pay-per-view in an event called “One More Shot” (complete details here).
The Stones have already been joined by the likes of Florence Welch, Mary J. Blige and Gary Clark Jr. throughout this string of shows, and they’ve also just been added to this week’s Hurricane Sandy benefit concert at Madison Square Garden.
