Star Trek Into Darkness Poster Revealed

Paramount has released the first poster for the much anticipated Star Trek sequel, Star Trek Into Darkness.

The image displays an earthly landscape, with an unseen villain standing atop a pile of rubble. Perhaps signaling things to come from the film, the still-to-be-named villain appears to be surveying damage done to the ship Enterprise, whose crew is nowhere in sight.

Star Trek Into Darkness hits theaters May 17, 2013.
