Watch The Decemberists' Simpsons Appearance

Hipsters invaded Springfield on last night’s episode of The Simpsons and brought The Decemberists with them. The band made a brief cameo as Springfield Elementary’s new music teachers.

The band was joined by Portlandia’s Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, as well as comedian Patton Oswalt, as a family from Portland who become the Simpsons’ hip neighbors.
