Broken Social Scene Returns for Toronto's Field Trip Music & Arts Festival

Broken Social Scene is set to make its return to play Arts and Crafts Records’ inaugural Field Trip Music & Arts Festival on June 8.

This festival will be the Canadian indie-rock band’s first performance since a hiatus announced in November 2011.

The Field Trip Music & Arts Festival will be at Fort York & Garrison Common in Toronto.
The lineup is entirely made up of Arts and Crafts Records’ artists: former BSS members Leslie Feist and Jason Collett, Bloc Party, Ra Ra Riot, Timber Timbre and more.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Arts and Crafts Records is co-founded by BSS original Kevin Drew. According to a press release, the one-day festival is a part of AC10, a series of events planned to commemorate the record company’s achievements of the past decade.

Tickets can currently be purchased through the festival’s website. Families are welcome and kids can attend for free.
