Cartoon Network Revives The Powerpuff Girls

According to a report by Vulture, Cartoon Network has announced the return of The Powerpuff Girls, their hit show about a trio of spunky, young superheroines that ran from 1998 to 2005.

The report goes on to say that the girls will be reappearing in a new special that will give the show a “redesigned and re-imagined” CG look.

The show is also set to feature the vocal talents of Ringo Starr, who will provide the voice for town mathematician Fibonacci Sequins (get it?)
